The room had awful shower pressure and a faucet that was pulling out of the wall. There were unsightly handprints above the toilet, which made me question the cleanliness of the room. Additionally, the front desk staff were hardly present, making it difficult to get assistance.

Clean room and friendly staff made the experience nice. I particularly loved the well stocked coffee machine in the lobby and the breakfast options were excellent.

During my stay, I appreciated the close proximity to Wayland City Park, just about 1.5 km away, making my daily strolls refreshing and easy, and the fantastic dining options like Hungry Howie's Pizza just a short walk of less than 5 minutes from the hotel, which made grabbing a quick meal convenient.

The pool was perfect for relaxing after a long drive! The only downside was that the coffee machine in the lobby caused some delays due to its single-user restriction. Overall, a pleasant stay. 😊

i had a fantastic stay at best western plus! all the staff was amazing, especially the outdoor maintenance guy who helped with my luggage. the pool was perfect too! i appreciated that the cleaning lady went out of her way to return my phone that i lost in the bedding. it's close to all the fun spots, making it a great location.

This place really nailed the self-serve breakfast! Jessica keeps it stocked with everything you'd want. The room was nice, and Alyssa and Maddie were super friendly and helpful. One small thing, the lamp bases need some dusting. It’s right off the highway, so that’s cool.

We had a spacious King Suite with a cozy layout, which worked perfectly for our large family, including four babies. We really appreciated the clean facilities and the location's proximity to attractions like the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, just 21 miles away.

My kids wished there were more staff available for service. It can be quite challenging to manage everything with little ones and not have easy access to assistance.

The location was perfect for my trip and the Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was comfortable, featuring a great shower. Breakfast exceeded expectations with different hot entrees each day, and the pool and hot tub were impeccably clean, providing ample space for relaxation. However, the facility showed signs of wear and could benefit from some updates to keep it fresh.

It was just a suitable option for a day tour in Shelbyville with excellent value for money. The hot tub was so chlorinated that I could only enjoy it for a few minutes before my eyes started burning. Check in early if you want to snag some pool time before it gets busy.
